Hushpuppi Reportedly Confesses to Hacking Nigerians in Canada

Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has revealed that Ramon Abbas better known as Hushpuppi who was recently arrested over internet fraud has admitted to hacking into some Canadian bank accounts.

According to Ms Olunloyo, Hushpuppi confessed that many of the accounts are owned by Nigerians residing in the country. She who noted that the IG big boy is guilty of the crime leveled against him, subtly gave a note of warning to people who are praising him.

Citing an instance, the controversial journalist quizzed how people will feel if they work hard and someone withdrew all their hard earned money within a twinkle of an eye.

The 37-year-old and his gang were alleged to have defrauded 1,926,400 people from different parts of the world and stolen about 1.6bn Dirham (N168bn). The FBI alleged that Hushpuppi also attempted to dupe an English Premier League football club of £100m (N48.4bn).

He was arraigned in a Chicago court and later transferred to California for prosecution.
